Commercial Diving Specialists - Pile Removal

As commercial divers, Gilbert Diving have the experience and equipment to remove the complete underwater components of bridges, wharves and piers. We have a range of tools we use for pile removal, such as:

  • Hydraulic chainsaw
  • Hydraulic concrete cut-off saw
  • Exothermic cutting equipment
  • Jackhammers

With this equipment and extensive experience we can remove all pile types, such as reinforced concrete piles, steel piles, timber piles and fibreglass piles.

New bridge construction also requires the removal of old piles and piers during and after construction, this work requires intense coordinated project management between the client and Gilbert Diving to achieve successful safety outcomes.
A recent pile removal project was the removal of temporary piles from a new bridge construction in northern NSW, where steel piles were cut off below the natural riverbed.

At Gilbert diving we have and continue to sustain an outstanding safety record. We are committed to working in and maintaining a safe and professional work environment at all times through our successful safety management system.
