Gilbert Diving Contaminated Environment Projects

Contaminated Environment / Pollution Diving – Gilbert Diving has the capabilities to dive in any polluted, contaminated, black water using two complete pollution suits set up as required by ASNZS 2299/1/2007 Occupational Diving Operations Part 1 Standard Operational Practice. Usually these environments have no visibility, so photographs and video are not always possible.

Divers and all gear are sterilised before and after the dive to protect our diver’s and the environment.

Our projects include diving in sewerage treatment plants, rising mains, any body of contaminated water that requires an inspection, maintenance carried out with reporting, inflatable plugs fitted, valve isolation, aerator paddle recovery & installation, abatoirs and gelatione ponds.

We have worked on sewerage maintenance facilities on the Gold Coast, Tweed Coast, Coffs Harbour, Redland Bay, Toowoomba, Beaudesert, Blackwater, Mt. Isa and the Sunshine Coast to name a few.
