As commercial divers, Gilbert Diving have the knowledge, experience and equipment for detailed underwater ship inspections, reports, repairs and cleaning.

The underwater ship inspection is regularly carried out to save the owners time and costly dry docking. We have the capabilities for:

• Ship/vessel inspection;
• Hull thickness gauging and Hull integrity via non destructive testing (NDT)
• In water video surveys using a surface monitor
• Ship/vessel repairs on the hull and propeller
• Wet welding 
• Ship/vessel hull cleaning using equipment such as a high pressure water blaster or hydraulic Brushes
• Hull penetration cleaning and maintenance
